I'm 57, 5'4", 140lbs. Size small fit perfectly. I did try the medium but too baggy. I hate my legs/knees, and these shorts give the fit and coverage I want without making me look frumpy.

I rated these several weeks ago. Before I broke my knee, I was able to try them on and they fit great. Unfortunately, the leg is not wide enough to fit over the immobilizing brace. I have on my right now so I have to wait till sometime in June to wear them again. The cargo pockets to fit my Iphone 16pro. I tried that on with them too.

These shorts are super comfortable and good quality. These actually fit just right in the waist and are a good length for hiking, gardening and even working out in the gym. I have purchased several different styles of Kuhl pants, and they tend to run small in the waist for even a Large. These shorts are fine.
