These pants keep me warm, stretch enough to let me be active, and fit well and true to size for me (28/29 jeans 8 in overpriced athletic leggings 5”2) I wish there was a 4.75 star because I only want to take off a smidge for there not being a side pocket. A drop-in or a flat tab (with no button or fastening closure just a flap over opening) would be such a great addition to these really comfortable pants. Nobody is wearing these inside where they don’t need to have their phone on them—they’re wearing them being active outdoors where they most definitely have their phone. While many people may wear them as a hardcore base layer under stuff that has pockets—they are 100% able to be worn alone and side pockets would be so useful. I wear them hiking, fly fishing—both when wade fishing under waders and without waders from a kayak, on a walk in my neighborhood, to my kids sporting events, and hunting—and I would use a pocket in all of those scenarios. There’s also a tag attached to a middle seam that runs down the front of my left leg that was irritating against my skin (I didn’t notice the seam at all just the tag) which I cut out but would probably be better placed in the back waistband so it’s against your underwear instead of the front of your thigh. Other than that I have found these pants to be exactly what I was looking for—warm, comfy, fit well, stretch just enough, and good quality.

Love, love, love these leggings. They are warm yet light and not restricting in any way. These are my second pair, and I will continue to buy these. I wear them for every activity - hiking, biking, cross country skiing - and they work great. They have held up well too (the older pair I have) to many wearings.

Toasty leggings
Excellent. I purchased these for my trip to Iceland. I wore them everyday for 14 days. They were everything I wanted and more. I’m not sure how to clean them without losing their water proofing.

I’m 5’9” with a 34” inseam and wear a size 6 in most Kuhl bottoms. I ordered a small and they fit snug, much like leggings you’d wear to workout but with a little more room in the legs, similar to how it looks on the model in the knee area. Will be great for outdoor winter activities and you could pair with a nice sweater out on the town.
