Aktivator® Series
Choose from hoodies and jackets engineered to regulate your core temperature across shifting cold-weather conditions:
Three-Zone Synthetic Insulation. The AKTIVATOR® Series uses three different weights of high-performance synthetic insulation, mapped to where your body actually loses heat. The heaviest fill sits across the chest and core. Lighter fills run along the arms and flanks, so you don't overheat the moment you start climbing. The result is real warmth where you need it, without the dead-weight bulk of a uniformly stuffed jacket.
Soft Stretch, Built to Move. A soft, 4-way stretch face fabric lets you reach, scramble, and layer without binding across the shoulders. This is a series built for active cold-weather use (skinning up, building belays, splitting wood) not standing still. The cut is athletic but not restrictive, and the stretch carries through every panel.
Windproof, Water-Resistant Shell. A DWR finish sheds light precipitation, and a tightly woven face fabric stops cold gusts from cutting through. Breathable underarm panels release excess heat as your output ramps up, so you aren't stripping layers every twenty minutes. It's the construction recipe most reach-for active-insulation pieces are built around.
Versatile Across the Day. Equally at home as an outer layer on dry-cold mornings or as a midlayer under a hardshell when the weather turns ugly. The trim profile layers cleanly, and the synthetic fill keeps insulating even when damp, a real advantage over down for variable, wet-cold environments.
Look for signature touches like body-mapped insulation zones, breathable underarm stretch panels, articulated sleeves for overhead reach, and a clean, layer-friendly silhouette. For other warm-without-bulk options, see our Eclipser Series and the broader Reactiv Series.
The AKTIVATOR® Series pairs three weights of synthetic insulation with a stretch, windproof shell, warmth where you need it, breathability where you don't.
