Resistor™ Chino
Never fall in line with KÜHL men's Resistor™ Chino pant. Constructed from fabrics that are durable as you are, with a tapered look that performs trail or town.
If anyone is on the fence between these two styles here are my thoughts. I have both styles, wear both and like both. I manage a large warehouse. I spent a lot of time in the office, meetings, traveling and also on the warehouse floor. So looks, comfort, ease of care and durability are the most important functions for me…in that order. Looks: Both look good for office type environments. The Chino is more dressy and I say that mainly because of the back pockets being internal vs stitched into the pants. The Chino is tapered and the Slax are the regular (Klassik) fit. The Chino is little more flattering, but that also means they fit a little tighter around the legs and calves. I wear work boots mostly and the Chino does stretch to pull over the top of my boot. With dress shoes the Chino also looks nice. Because of the taper I think the length is a little more forgiving on the Chino, meaning if your pants are 1in too long they don’t look too long with the Chino. Length needs to be more spot on with the Slax. Comfort: The Slax material is softer to the touch, but the Chino material has more flex. I prefer the flex. Both feel good and can be worn for long durations. Ease of Care: I normally wear pants 3-4 days before washing. Both hold up well to my use. Both exit the dryer (I dry them ¾ dry then hang for remainder) wrinkle free. The Chino seems to avoid wrinkles more from sitting, wearing, etc. The Slax will get very slight wrinkles when sitting for hours, travel, etc…again slight. Both roll up well for travel and unpack relatively wrinkly free. Durability: My day is 80% office, 20% walking the warehouse. I wear them 12+ hours on many days. Both have held up well. I don’t do a lot of manual labor in these so I can’t attest to abrasion resistance, etc. If I had to pick just one I’d pick the Chino. I think they look nicer for the office, resist wrinkle wear better and I like the stretch fabric.

My "travel" pants that look and fit great
I've been using these pants around the world for many years. Finally bought a new pair. They are comfortable on a plane, a walk around town and finally a nice dinner out. Zipper on back pocket to keep wallet safe. If your looking for a more baggy cargo type pant or more technical look with more pockets and stitch lines pick another style. Thes...

Comfort and Style
Can't say enough about the chinos. They always look good with a minimum of care. Extremely comfortable, but dressy enough for dinner too. Caution the light chinos wrinkle. I'd recommend getting the regular pant.

Swiss Army Knife of Pants
Pant work everywhere. My favorite pants purchase in decades. Very happy I bought two pairs so I've always got a pair handy.
